Sewards Blinds was established back in 1996, and from day one it’s been a family-run business and our pride and joy. What started as a hands-on idea has grown into a trusted local company - but our values have never changed. Our customers have always been (and always will be) our priority.
We believe that choosing blinds, curtains or flooring should feel exciting, not stressful, and we take pride in helping every customer feel confident they’ve made the right decision for their home.

Taking pride in every aspect
Made With Care
We’re proud to manufacture the majority of our made-to-measure blinds in our own workshop, right here at Sewards. For anything we can’t manufacture ourselves, we do our best to use UK-based suppliers who share our standards for quality and reliability.
All of our blinds are manually operated as standard, but many can also be motorised, with options including battery-operated, rechargeable and solar-powered systems.
More Than Just Blinds
Alongside our window coverings, we also supply carpet and vinyl flooring, awnings and stunning louvered pergolas, again working closely with trusted UK suppliers.
A professional measuring and fitting service is available upon request, so you can be sure everything fits perfectly and looks just right.

Meet Our Team
Frank Seward – Founder & Owner
First up is Frank, the man who started it all. Sewards began with Frank tinkering away in his garage after a friend suggested he try making and installing a vertical blind. As someone who’s always been happy to try his hand at making things, Frank soon perfected his craft. Together with his wife Rachael, Frank took the leap and turned that skill into a business — and over 30 years later, he’s still just as hands-on. With that much experience under his belt, you can be sure you’re in safe hands.
Rachael Seward – Co-Owner
Standing alongside Frank from the very beginning is Rachael, joint owner and a huge part of what makes Sewards what it is today. Her dedication, support and hard work have helped shape the business into the friendly, welcoming company customers know and trust.
The Doggos
Next — and probably the most important team members — are our resident doggos: Buddy, Henry and Jake. Always ready with a waggy tail and a warm welcome, these three are guaranteed to brighten your visit.
(Top tip: a well-chosen biscuit will earn you major brownie points.)
